Prayer For My Brother
Introduction
This is a prayer for my brother, who passed away.
Father, I am asking for Your intervention in my brother’s life.

I am seeking your guidance and wisdom as I pray for him.
I have seen him struggle with his finances and relationships, and it breaks my heart to see him in this state.
Please help me to be honest about my concerns for my brother’s well being, so that he may seek your help, Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen!

Dear Father, I come to You honestly about my brother. I’ve always loved him and wanted the best for him, but I don’t always agree with his choices. And sometimes I get angry with him because he makes decisions that hurt himself and others around him.
But since we’re family, I know that You love us both equally. And even though it’s difficult for me to admit this, there are many good qualities that my brother possesses as well: loyalty, compassion for others’ needs before his own (even if he doesn’t act on them), hard work when he is motivated—these things make me proud of who he is and proud to call him my brother!
At the same time though… there are some things about my brother that have caused problems between us in the past few years: his lack of communication skills (though he has improved recently), selfishness in relationships with friends or family members who care about him deeply…
Father, I am praying for my brother’s heart and mind.
For my brother, I pray that you would give him guidance and help him make good decisions. I pray that you would guide him in his thoughts, words and actions. I pray that he will have strength to think clearly so that he can make the right choices and stay away from bad influences.
I ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen

Dear Father,
I have a selfish prayer request for my brother. He is facing some difficult circumstances. I am worried about him and would like to see him receive the best possible outcome in his situation. I know that You know all things, including our needs and desires as well as what we need to do to accomplish them (Matthew 6:8). It’s been hard for me to pray for this because it seems unfair that he should get what he wants when there are so many others who are less fortunate than he is.
I want to be able to pray with an open heart instead of being concerned about whether or not my request will happen immediately or how long it might take in heaven’s time rather than ours. Lord God Almighty, please help me overcome my selfishness so that I can love my brother with a pure heart free from personal agenda or bias toward him or any other person on earth whom You have given me opportunity to love during this life before Your throne of judgment comes upon us all!

Father, I am praying for my brother to find rest and hope in You. Please give him peace, joy, and love in his heart. Help him to see that You have a plan for his life. Help him to trust You as he walks through this difficult season of his life.
Please use my brother to be a light for others who are going through similar situations or who may not know the Lord yet. Use him as an example of how much you love us all and how great Your grace is!

I pray for forgiveness for all the times I have not been a good example to him in walking our faith. I ask that You help me to set a good example and lead by example as we are both called by Your name.
I thank You for taking care of my brother yesterday, today and every day! Let him continue to be blessed by Your grace and mercy in his life daily as well. Let him always know that even though he may be far away from home, he will never be alone because there are many people who love him dearly here at home waiting anxiously for his return so they can show how much they miss him too!
Conclusion
My brother’s name is David. He is a loving, caring, and devoted father to my niece and nephew. He was the most welcoming person to me when I was new to this family. He helped me learn how to drive when I first moved here from Ohio. I wouldn’t be where I am today without him by my side every step of the way
