Prayer For Strength
Introduction
God, thank you for the strength you provide for me as I walk through this life. You know where I am and where I need to go; help me not to lose sight of your path in my journey.
# Section 1
Father, I know that you are in control and that my strength will come from you.
Father, I know that you are in control and that my strength will come from you.
My strength is fading, but you have made a promise to renew my strength when it fails. Please help me to trust in your strength so I can do the work you’ve called me to do. Your strength is greater than anything this world has to offer—and it’s also more stable than any earthly power could ever be. Thank you for taking control of my life and keeping me safe during this difficult time; please give me the courage needed to keep moving forward on this journey toward wholeness and health!
Lord, please help me.
- Pray for protection and guidance. God is always with you, and he wants to help you through your troubles. Ask him to give you strength as well as guidance and direction in your life.
- Pray for courage: it’s never easy standing up and speaking out against injustice, but sometimes it needs to be done. If you find yourself facing a difficult decision or situation that requires strength, pray for the courage to do what’s right.
Father, I have come to you for strength and place myself in your care.
Father, I have come to you for strength and place myself in your care.
God is the source of our strength, so it is important that we recognize him as such and place ourselves in his care before we ask for anything. Our Lord has promised that if we are faithful to him, he will be with us always (Matthew 28:20). This promise refers not only to physical safety but also spiritual safety as well. We can trust God because his love is unconditional and everlasting; even though we may not understand why certain things happen or why they had to happen in a particular way, this does not change the fact that God loves each one of us individually with an everlasting love (John 3:16).
Lord, help me to have an undivided heart.
Steadfast in your purpose, you should remain single-minded. Guard your heart diligently by focusing on the task at hand and remembering your goal. Undivided attention is necessary when pursuing a singular ambition. Only by concentrating on one thing can you move forward with strength and certainty, trusting that God will guide you to success.
Father, I come to you for protection and place myself under your care.
Father, I come to you for protection and place myself under your care.
I believe that you are the Lord of hosts who will protect me from evil and violence, from fear and despair.
You have said that those who trust in You will be safe (Isaiah 8:18).
Protect me from all that would harm me or anyone else close to me; be their shield against harm (Psalm 20:2).
In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.”
Lord, help me to be obedient always.
Obey the Lord and He will give you strength.
When we are obedient to God, we receive His blessings and protection. Obedience is also a way to honor God and worship Him as our Creator and Redeemer. Obeying God’s Word brings us closer to Him, because it shows our trust in Him for our lives. It is only when we follow His instructions that we can be sure of the outcome!
God’s strength comes from obedience to Him.
God’s strength comes from obedience to Him. It is not about what you do, but what you don’t do. The more we obey God, the greater our strength will be in all areas of our lives. We must rely on God for everything—not ourselves or other people.
We have been given life and breath by a power greater than ourselves: God! Everything that we have is a gift from Him; therefore, all glory goes to Him alone!
When life gets tough, remember that God gives us the strength and ability to deal with any situation no matter how difficult it may seem at times (1 Corinthians 10:13). That said, we should pray often so that we may always remain steadfast through difficult times as well as good ones because there will always be challenges ahead throughout life’s journey (2 Timothy 4:18). But don’t forget who gave those gifts—it wasn’t yourself or another person; rather it was God Himself who provided them when needed most!
Conclusion
There are a lot of reasons you could be praying for strength. Maybe it’s for courage, maybe it’s for perseverance, or maybe it’s just to give you the willpower to wake up in the morning and get out of bed again. Whatever your reason, remember that prayer should never be used as a panacea—a cure-all that makes problems disappear overnight. Instead, these prayers are designed to focus your attention on what really matters: connecting with God in a personal way that brings you closer to Him through life’s struggles and creating an eternal bond between yourself and the Creator of Heaven and Earth.
