It is important not to be lead astray by anyone, for many will come in the name of Jesus, claiming that ‘I am the Messiah’, and they will deceive many. Do not panic, even though you will hear rumors of wars and the threat of wars in the near future. The end will not come immediately after these things take place, but they are necessary to occur in the first place. There will be a war between a nation and a kingdom, and a war between a kingdom and a nation. A number of parts of the world will experience famines and earthquakes during this time. The pains of giving birth are just the beginning of the process. There will be more to come as the process continues.
In order for us to be able to grow in our faith in Christ Jesus, we must learn to build ourselves up. As we do this, we will be able to withstand what the Lord Jesus warned us about in Matthew 24:4-13: To build yourself up in the most holy faith, here are a few simple steps to take.
Be Mindful of What You Read and Watch

The Bible tells us that our thoughts are important. In fact, it tells us that the thought life of a person is very important. It says in Philippians 4:8 (NIV) “whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”
If we choose to spend time thinking about things that are not true or honorable or right or pure or lovely or admirable, we will be living an unhappy life. We need to spend time thinking about things that are true and honorable and right and pure and lovely so that we can have a happy life.
Test All Things; Hold Fast What Is Good.
As a Christian, you are called to be a soldier.
You’re called to stand strong against the forces of darkness and to fight for what’s right. As you go through life, you will face many different challenges. It’s important that you’re ready when they come—and that means knowing how to build yourself up in the most holy faith.

If you don’t know what you’re talking about, then you can’t expect anyone else to listen. Study and learn from people who know more than you so that you can teach others what they’ve learned.
