Honey in The Rock Bible Verse

The honey in the rock refers to God’s provision of salvation through Jesus Christ. Through this provision, we can experience abundant life and have all that we need for our spiritual growth and maturity. Through Christ, who is the Word of God made flesh (John 1:1-3), we have access to God’s grace and mercy so that we may live abundantly with Him forevermore.

We have provided in this review honey in the rock bible verse.

In Deuteronomy 32, the Lord promised His people that He will provide them with honey in the rocks.

Your God will provide honey in the rocks, and all that your soul wants you shall eat.

You shall suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the hard stone; I am the Lord your God who has given you these treasures.”

Butter of kine, milk of sheep (that is, butter), fatness of lambs, bulls’ flesh, with blood poured thereon; they have received their reward for their works; 4. They shall not be forgotten before me: but they shall be had in my sight continually that their sacrifices may be accepted upon mine altar: for my name’s sake do I declare it unto you this day before all Israel as I have sworn to make a covenant with thee in mount Sinai where thou standest this day before me at Horeb where thou didst say “Art thou not come to make a covenant with us?”. 5? And Moses took half the blood which was in his hand and sprinkled it on [the altar] but he poured the rest upon Aaron’s head saying “Behold! This is holy blood which belongs solely to God! It will become an eternal symbol because its meaning can never change just like how no matter what happens today or tomorrow our love for one another will never change even though we’re separated by thousands miles away from each other right now.” 6? Then Moses took half again as much liquid (wine) as he had taken before (in fact making two cups total), put some spices into it (“I’ll show them how strong my dedication really is”), drank some himself first so that everyone would see that he wasn’t doing anything wrong by letting people drink while they were still fasting during Passover week then offered both cups around so everyone could share them together–both clean humans/animals only though since nobody was allowed any contact whatsoever between themselves or their livestock animals until after Passover ended at sundown Saturday night time). 7

God promised that He would bless His people with honey in the rock, and He did so through Jesus Christ.

God promised that He would bless His people with honey in the rock, and He did so through Jesus Christ. Jesus is our rock and strength; He is our source of honey. The Bible says that “the Lord God has given me a well-trained tongue: I know how to speak to kings and princes, how to say what pleases them” (Proverbs 16:1).

  • Proverbs 16:1 says, “The Lord detests pride but delights in humility.” Pride leads us away from God’s grace; humility draws us near to it.
  • In Ezekiel 18:4-6 we read about the difference between those who are humble before God and those who are proud before Him: “The soul who sins shall die,” declares the Sovereign LORD. “But if a man does not sin intentionally…he shall surely live.” * If it tries but fails to avoid evil because of its own inadequacy or lack of knowledge or understanding—that is not considered an offense; . . . (NIV)

The honey in the rock is symbolic of God’s provision in the rock, which is Jesus Christ Himself.

  • The honey in the rock is symbolic of God’s provision in the rock, which is Jesus Christ Himself.
  • Jesus said He was the Bread of Life (John 6:35).
  • Jesus said He was the living water that quenches our thirst (John 4:10).
  • Jesus said He was “the True Vine” and we are branches of that vine (John 15:5).

This is where we get our strength, this is what gives us life and hope, this is who gives us everything we need to live on—Himself!

Honey in the rock can be found on Mount Sinai, where Moses communed with God and received the Law.

The honey in the rock can be found on Mount Sinai, where Moses communed with God and received the Law. The honey represents God’s provision for His people.

Jesus is our Rock, strength and source of life! John 6:35 says, “Jesus said that if anyone drinks of Him he will never thirst again.”

Jesus said that if you drink from Him, you will never thirst again.

Jesus said that if you drink from Him, you will never thirst again. Jesus is the living water and He is the bread of life.

(John 4:13-15 NKJV) Jesus answered and said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again; but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.” The woman said to Him, “Sir, give me this water so that I may not be thirsty nor come here to draw.”

Jesus is our rock and strength; He is our source of honey.

Jesus is our rock and strength; He is the only one who can quench our thirst. God loves it when we look to Him as the source of all things good.

When you abide in Him, God will give you what you need.

We have been offered a free gift of salvation, but it is not just a free gift that we can take or leave. Jesus said in John 10:9-10: “I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it more abundantly.” This means that if you want to know God in His fullness and experience His power, then you must abide in Christ (and not another person).

The following verses from 1 Corinthians 3 show how important it is for us to abide in Christ so we can receive what He has for us: “Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is within you? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.
