The honey in the rock refers to God’s provision of salvation through Jesus Christ. Through this provision, we can experience abundant life and have all that we need for our spiritual growth and maturity. Through Christ, who is the Word of God made flesh (John 1:1-3), we have access to God’s grace and mercy so that we may live abundantly with Him forevermore.

We have been offered a free gift of salvation, but it is not just a free gift that we can take or leave.
